Application, and your ability to regulate environmental temperature and humidity, should be the key drivers in your battery selection.

Beyond appropriate battery specification, optimal service life is realized through routine maintenance. As a battery ages, its capacity drops. Annual battery testing is recommended to measure the energy that a battery is able to store. Batteries determined to have 80% or less capacity indicates they should be replaced.

JT Packard includes battery maintenance with standard UPS preventative maintenance service. As a master battery distributor, we inventory a wide selection and annually remove and replace 50,000+ batteries.
